Snap it in place on the front of the pouch, and store bigger items in the actual zippered portion of the pouch! This pattern hack is designed by Michelle Graham. I have produced the pdf and video for the pattern hack in my usual pattern format.

Supplies Needed for the Pattern Hack:
- Dogwood Pouch supplies from the Dogwood Pouch pdf sewing pattern (Pouch G)
- 1/3 yard/metre of non-directional exterior fabric
- 1/2 yard/metre of non-directional lining fabric
- 8” x 11” piece of Fusible Fleece
- 1 yard/metres 20” wide Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex fusible woven interfacing (or med-weight fusible interfacing)
- KAM snaps (2 female snaps with caps, and 2 male snaps with caps)
The pdf pattern includes 7 pages of sewing instructions, complete with 16 step-by-step photos.
Also included in the PDF pattern are printable pattern pieces for your home printer. The following files will all be included with your PDF pattern purchase:
- SVG Files (for electric cutting machines, such as the Brother Scan N Cut and the Cricut Maker)
- Projector Files (for use with home projectors for cutting out fabric; please see the group Projectors for Sewing for more information)
- A0 Files (large-format 33″ x 46″ pattern page for printing at your local copy shop, in case you would rather not tape together the pattern pages that are included in the PDF pattern)
