In the United States:
-All fabric and Sizzix dies are shipped via Priority Mail (the United States Postal service advises that this normally takes 2-3 business days to arrive).
-Sewing patterns and small notions (like zippers and mesh) are shipped via First Class Mail. Estimated 5-7 business days to arrive.
-Books are sent via Media Mail. Estimated 2-10 business days to arrive.

For the rest of the world:
-Orders are sent via First Class Parcel. Some heavy items may be sent via Priority Mail. Shipping speed is dependent on country.

We offer flat rate shipping for fabric in the United States. For all other items, and for international shipping, please use our handy shipping calculator! The cost of certain items to ship depend on weight or amount. Place the chosen items in your shopping cart, then add your location and calculate shipping!

Due to recent legislation, taxes will be charged on U.S. physical/shippable orders. If your order is being delivered to an address outside of the United States, the package may be subject to duty/customs fees, which are the responsibility of the purchaser. I know taxes aren’t anyone’s favorite subject, but our accountant wants to keep us on the up and up!

All orders ship from my studio in Chicago, IL. We ship worldwide.

I offer a 30-day return policy on physical items that you are not satisfied with (perhaps you were looking for a different color of cork, etc.). Please contact me at [email protected] to make arrangements. Refunds will be issued once items are returned to me. Refunds will not be given for shipping charges.

Please contact me if you have received an item in damaged condition.

Due to copyright law, sales are final on all patterns and videos.

All pdf patterns and videos that are ordered will be delivered automatically upon payment. Please take care to use a valid email address and that the email is spelled correctly.

The exception is if digital items are ordered in combination with physical items. In this case, the digital items will not be delivered until the physical items have shipped. We do ship orders 6 days a week.

If you placed an order using ‘Guest Checkout’ and cannot find your pattern download, please email me at [email protected] for assistance.

To print out PDF patterns, please use Adobe Reader (which is a program that you can download for your device for free right here). Do NOT open the PDF pattern from a web browser to print.

Every printer’s settings look different, but make sure that you are printing at Actual Size. Do not use scaling or fit to page. In some cases, you may need to use Auto Portrait/Landscape.

Measure the 1″ or 4cm square provided on the template pages.

Pattern pages are formatted to print on both US and A4 paper.

If you’re having trouble with the video stopping/pausing, I recommend lowering the video quality for smoother viewing (there should be a little gear-shaped wheel at the bottom of the video near the ‘Vimeo’ text – click on that and instead of Auto, choose a lower video quality). If you are still having trouble, please go to speedtest.net and run an internet test and please let me know the download speed results. Vimeo videos do not automatically adjust due to your internet speed (like Netflix or YouTube do), so sometimes you need to manually adjust to a lower video quality.

Sometimes I find that my internet is just having a bit of a hiccup. Restarting my computer is always my first option for when things appear not to be running correctly.

The home sewist may sell items made from my patterns at craft fairs or online. Large scale manufacturing is not permitted.

Any patterns or videos that you have purchased are for personal use only. We all lose the pattern pieces we’ve printed – I’ve been there! You can print the pattern as many times for your personal use as is needed.

You may not redistribute, sell, or reproduce the pattern for anyone else – this is a violation of copyright law. You may be trying to be helpful by making copies for all of the ladies at your quilt guild, but I write patterns and produce videos as a means to support my family (as my husband works with me, our pattern business is actually our only means to support our family). If you have a friend that is interested in one of my patterns, I would be grateful if you would direct them to my website! I do offer many free patterns and videos, if a purchase is not in the budget right now. Thank you for respecting copyright law, your support will allow me to create many more patterns and videos!

What happens if you sign up for my newsletter and provide your email address in order to receive the newsletter? I do not ever share my newsletter list with anyone. I also do not ever sell my newsletter list to anyone.

What happens if you provide your email address in order to make a purchase on my website? I only use the provided email address to send relevant emails about your order, such as order confirmation and shipping confirmation. If I have a question about your order, I will contact you via email. The email address that you provide for your order will not be used for any other reason unless you sign up for my newsletter.
