Supplies Needed to Make This Bag
- 1-1/2 yard/metre of exterior fabric
- 1-1/2 yard/metre of lining fabric
- 1/3 yard of solid fabric for handles and zipper accent
- 1/2 yard/metre of foam interfacing (By Annie’s Soft and Stable, Pellon Flex Foam, Bosal In-R-Form, or automotive headliner; if using Flex Foam, it is only 20” wide so please purchase 1-1/2 yard)
- 1/4 yard/metre of fusible fleece
- 4-1/2 yard/metre 20” wide Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex fusible woven interfacing (or med-weight fusible interfacing)
- (optional) 1/2 yard/metre of Pellon #71 Peltex OR Decovil Heavy fusible interfacing
- 24” handbag zipper for top zip closure
- 30” handbag zipper for front pocket (I used a double-pull zipper; 1 pull will work as well)
- Three 12” zippers for lining zippered pockets
- Two Dritz strap adjusters for 1” wide strap
- 1-1/8 yard/metre of 1” (2.5cm) wide nylon strapping
- Two 10-1/4” x 2-3/4” metal frames
- 1/2 yard mesh fabric
- 1 yard of 1/2” wide fold-over elastic (5/8″ or 3/4″ width will work also)
