I loved your Facebook video tonight of the selvage bag. I can’t wait to make one. . A friend made a similar one that had 3 zipper separators inside. It was more for sewing notions and it was maybe 10″ long by 4 inches hi. It had sewing tape measures. Any chance that you could teach that one also?
Hi. I’m trying to find the link to the templates please Thank you for the video.
I couldn’t fin the templates link either – the space where it should be is empty. Thanks!

YES! I’m a bag lady , 2 grand dogs !!
I’m a total bag lady . . . but I have to ask, do you really use Frixion clickers for sewing?? My kids and I love them for school, but I am in awe that you are using them for sewing! Do tell!! 🙂
I do use Frixion to mark fabric on an area of the fabric that won’t be seen in the finished bag (back of the fabric, etc.). For marking on another area, I prefer to use a Clover Chaco in white.
I am a bag lady. My daughter lives with us and has a small dog, we have a cat that is probably 4 times as big.

Enjoyed your video. Just ordered the minikins. I have a wonderful golden retriever named Molly. I noticed you use the Frixon erasable pens. I love them and use them all the time. I buy them in bulk when our local big box grocery store has back to school deals.

Love your bag & I am a “Bag Lady”too. I have a spoiled Havanese dog who is 14 this week. He is my love. One of my quilting friends made a quilt with the salvege remains& she won a prize at our quilt show.. It was beautiful, but she said it was really too heavy.
A thought about scraps – You paid the same amount for the scraps that you paid for the rest of the fabric. So perhaps that is an incentive to save and use them. (Not an original idea, but I don’t remember where it originated. I will be a bag lady soon! And we do not have pets because we travel often.
I have a dog!
I was recommended to come to your site by my niece Nicole and I am glad I did–very informative even though I have been sewing since I was 11–I’m now nearly 70–there are always new tricks to teach and OLD DOG–
I’m always learning something new! It’s a great thing!
I have multiples of both! I just love animals.
Yes,I save selveges and I make quilts from them!
I’m a bag man… Started making bags this year.
P.S. I save scraps of fabrics…
For quite a few years I’ve been called a bag lady. Why? Because I crocheted and knit bags from unusual materials. Then I started quilting them out of plastic grocery bags. If I had the time to do all I think of, I could make a mint even selling them at the dollar or two people would be willing to pay. (cheapskates!) Never have saved selvages. Too much other fabric. Allergies instead of pets. I don’t do social media, so haven’t seen you there.
I’m a BAG LADY ! My dog Olive could not be more special to me. She’s quirky, independent, hilarious, and adorable. She’s a wonderful companion.
I’m a bag lady!! 🙂
Very nice presentation prompting me to watch more of your channel. Thanks. Also, I cannot get my ends of the zipper to turn out looking like yours. Any tips on that particular part of the project.
Hello Willy! You’ll want to make sure that you don’t sew over the zipper tab fabric at all. Here’s a video about this: https://sewsweetness.com/2020/01/video-how-to-make-your-zipper-tabs-look-nice.html Thank you!
