Beautiful, I’m a bag lady!
Beautiful as always! I’m a bag lady!
I just think you are such a sweet and beautiful sewist and “bag lady” in the nicest sense of the words. Thank you for always being so true to your show that you even show up when you are not feeling very well. Peace and blessings to you and for great health!! Vicki Robles
Thank you Vicki! The show is one of our favorite things to do, so I wouldn’t miss it! 🙂
I love you shows. I’m definitely a bag lady. I had never used foam before in sewing bags. So I purchase foam at a fabric store to make the disco clutch. The foam is less then 1/8 but looked liked the stuff in the video. My walking foot is stretching it out of shape. I actually got it to baste the foam to the exterior fabric by sewing from right side of the fabric but when I need to sew right sides together it’s foam top and bottom. Do you think there is more success with a Teflon foot? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance, Krista
Hi Krista, do you know the name or item number of the foam product that you purchased? It sounds like perhaps something different than the foam interfacing I use (that would not really stretch like that). I use By Annie’s Soft and Stable, but other foam interfacings available are Pellon Flex Foam or Bosal In-R-Form.
I love the the double zipper filigree pouch. I sewed up the oriole bag last night. I used batting instead of foam and got a great result.
My favorite bag in the 4 pm bundle is the Satelight bag
I really like the Hyacinth bag the best! Thanks for the chance to win:).
From one bag lady to another, I love the satellite bag. Going to order right now.
